Résumé : Three-dimensional
metal parts that practically out of thin air ? Most
of us still view as pure fiction. However, a technology
now exists that is capable of just that : Direct
Laser Forming by Trumpf.
This process involves melting pure metal powder
to produce homogeneous metallurgical structure free
of pores without using a binding agent. Even a workpiece
containing complex geometries can be produced in
the shortest possible time directly from the CAD
model.
